Session Synopsis
Fortify Your Small Business Against Key Cyber Threats - Develop a Cybersecurity Strategy and Build Cyber Resilience
How much thought have you given to securing your business against cyber attacks? Digitalisation, which has become part and parcel of 'new normal' business operations for SMEs, also brings new cybersecurity threats - to data, devices, and to a remote workforce. Small and medium businesses in Asia continue to face the brunt of cyberattacks, and humans are still the weakest link. Lack of cybersecurity awareness can have devastating impacts - in terms of finances, reputation, and business continuity. The average cost of a cybersecurity attack in Singapore is approximately SGD 1.7 million per breach. This is something that most SMEs cannot afford! This is why a cybersecurity strategy is essential for your small business. Don't wait until you are a victim of a cyber attack - take proactive steps to protect your data, systems, and your people!
The 3 key takeaways from the session will be:
1) Learn about the main cyber threats that small and medium businesses face, with a focus on the Asian context
2) Understand the key elements of a cybersecurity strategy (and how to get started, if you haven't already)
3) Get smart about investing in your people: cyber awareness is a key element of a robust cybersecurity strategy
